As a well established, well resourced school, Bryandale runs the risk of either being complacent or continuously chasing innovation. However, we have found that a key success strategy is balance, to integrate the old and the new based on the strengths of each. In a both/and world, there is less pressure to pursue emerging systems and technology, acknowledging that tried and tested systems have their own unique profile of functional strengths.

Having said that, our children are living in a vastly different and unique world. The rate of change continues to escalate, and many of them will embark upon careers that we haven’t even thought of. Trends are moving away from formal employment and many will try different careers in their lifetimes. It is our responsibility to ensure that education starts to move in a direction which will make learning relevant to that world, their global village.
